Baking Time Club is a start-up business who are now crowdfunding on Seedrs. They are looking to raise £50k investment to grow their baking supplies company, into a globally recognised baking brand.

The business founded in September 2016 by keen baker and Northampton resident Lavinia Drake, sells online direct to customers. They have now shipped over 1800 units, to over 25 countries and have a keen social media following of 23,000 people.

Lavinia aged 29, has been part of Entrepreneurial Spark, a business accelerator hub powered by Natwest and RBS, where the business has received business mentoring, workshops and office space over the last year.

Baking Time Club sells exciting mixes of cake sprinkles with names such as: Mermaid’s Tail, Candy Floss and Rainbows for Days. The cake sprinkles are all gluten-free, suitable for vegan, halal and kosher diets.

Lavinia “As a vegan myself, I struggled to find cake sprinkles which were ‘free-from’, I decided I’d be true to my values with the business, so we only sell ‘free-from’ edible decorations, providing customers with brand continuity”.

The company also sells a range of baking tools and gifts like unicorn cupcake kits and cookie cutters.
