The Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber’s brand new Business Expo is proving to be a real hit with businesses across Coventry and Warwickshire.
#CWROCKS is taking place at the Ricoh Arena on Friday, 9th March, and, as well as giving companies the chance to exhibit and meet potential new contacts, there will be opportunities to pick up hints and tips to improve & grow their business.
The tagline for the event is ‘Discover, Learn and Engage’, with a range of new features introduced from the Chamber’s traditional expos.
It will feature the ‘Learning Lab’, with a programme of exciting speakers providing business insight and knowledge around the challenges affecting business regionally, nationally and around the world.
And already a host of the Chamber’s Strategic Partners have signed up to exhibit at the refreshed event including Wright Hassall, The Wigley Group and Burgis & Bullock.
Corporate Members Coombe Abbey Hotel, Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice and WarwickNet are also signed up and there has been a flood of interest from businesses wanting to attend.
Business leaders and decision-makers will also be brought together at the event – as part of an invite-only Business Leaders Lunch, hosted by the Chamber’s CEO, Louise Bennett OBE.
The Business Expo is free to attend for visitors and doors will open from 10.00am with an anticipated 500 business contacts visiting throughout the day.
A selection of prize draws will also take place, including the ‘Rockstars Prize Draw’, which rewards delegates for paying a visit to at least 15 stands on the day. They will also be challenged to find the ‘Golden Envelope’ during the event to win a prize.
Chris Nagle, Events and Marketing Manager at the Chamber of Commerce, said: “The Chamber’s Business & Trade Expos have remained hugely popular with companies across the region but we felt the time was right to refresh what was on offer and allow us to showcase the best of business in our region. The Chamber thinks business is “rocking” and so #CWROCKS will provide the perfect platform to recognise this.
“The initial feedback we have received on #CWROCKS has been very positive with companies signing up to exhibit and many, many more wanting to attend on the day.
“We are all very much looking forward to the event as it is going to bring something new to the business calendar in Coventry and Warwickshire.
