National strategic communications and engagement consultancy JBP today announced senior leadership promotions to three individuals who have helped to shape the company’s growth and success:
- James Hargrave to Policy & Communications Director.
James has been with the company for 5 years, based at the company’s London office. He has spearheaded public policy campaigns across a range of sectors, including Save Kids’ Content, National Eye Research Centre and the award winning Empower: Access to Medicine.
- James Hinchcliffe to Strategic Engagement Director. A former External Communications Manager for B&NES Council and Communications Manager at NHS England, James has sixteen years of strategic communications, local public affairs and team leadership experience. He leads on the development of high level tenders.
- Julie Williams to Operations Director. Julie originally joined JBP’s Bristol office 20 years ago as a receptionist and administrator. Climbing the ranks and helping to transform the company’s financial function, she now leads the Accounts and HR departments.
Today’s promotions follow on from the appointment of Steve Anderson-Dixon as Chief Executive Officer. The former COO at Trinity Mirror’s Regionals Division, the largest national and regional media publisher in the UK, took over from Jennifer Bryant Pearson in late 2017.
Of today’s announcement, Anderson-Dixon said: “Integral to our success is our ability to attract and develop talented professionals who are passionate about growth investing and committed to generating attractive returns,” said Steve Anderson-Dixon, Chief Executive Officer of JBP. “Julie and both James’ embody these qualities, and we are pleased to recognise them for their many contributions.
Jennifer Bryant-Pearson, Founder Director at JBP, said: “The opportunity for further growth is really very exciting as we accelerate our strategic plan for what is one of the UK’s leading businesses in the PR, stakeholder engagement and public affairs industry.
“Julie understands the operational needs of the business extremely well and has demonstrated strong leadership of JBP’s financial function. James Hinchcliffe and James Hargrave are part of the next generation of strategic management and public policy directors, and I join my colleagues in congratulating them on their well-deserved promotions.”
JBP has offices in Bristol, Cardiff, London, Manchester and Warwick.
