Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce’s annual Let’s Do Business exhibition returns to Uttoxeter Racecourse on 28th June, in what promises to be a day of connections, inspiration and enterprise.

Let's do business event

The County wide exhibition, which is free to attend for delegates and will host over one hundred exhibitors, has become an annual centrepiece of the local business scene.  Delegate places are free of charge, and in each of the previous three years the expo has seen over 1,000 visitors making the most of a great opportunity to network, raise profiles and build business.

This year delegates will hear from special guest Michaela Wain, who is best known for appearing in the 2017 series of BBC television show “The Apprentice”, going all the way to the final and eventually finishing third.  Michaela co-founded her own business Design and Build Publishing Limited, based in Bolton, at the age of 25 and has a personal story of resilience and determination that will resound with many entrepreneurs and business owners.

Michaela will be telling her motivational story as part of a packed line up for Let’s Do Business, which also includes speed networking, business support clinics and a wide range of exhibitors.  Stands will be present from across the spectrum of business, from finance and banking to automotive, legal to printing and design, technology to education.

Sara Williams, Chief Executive of Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “Let’s Do Business fully emphasises the Chambers’ culture of connectivity, bringing together businesses from across the region in a vibrant hub of opportunity. It is always fantastic to see so many businesses engaging, building new relationships and growing their prospects.

“Staffordshire is home to thousands of thriving businesses and the county is part of the economic engine of growth for the whole of the UK. The Let’s Do Business exhibition showcases the strength of our business community, and is a fundamental part of the Chambers’ mission to help businesses connect, belong and succeed.”

Chris Plant, Director at Greater Birmingham Chambers comments: “There is no shortage of enterprise in Staffordshire but there can be a shortage of shouting about it, so full marks to everyone who is planning to exhibit or attend our exhibition. From the Leek in the north to Kinver in the south, the whole county is home to successful, innovative and enterprising businesses and this event is all about how to grow, expand and encourage business in the county.”
