An aviation parts supplier which has been operating for 22 years has set up its own logistics and warehousing business.
Air & Ground Aviation, based near Hixon, Staffordshire, has recently undergone a complete warehouse refurbishment and has now launched PalStore to offer its services to any company wishing to expand without the cost of physical growth.
PalStore has existed as part of Air & Ground Aviation from the start, but now it has undergone a complete rebrand and been launched as a separate business to offer a more tailored approach to storage solutions, as well as picking and packing, and even arranging the transportation of goods. The refurbishment that took place included creating a climate-controlled area, enabling customers with environmentally-sensitive goods to store their items hassle-free.
The logistics and warehousing service is now being offered to all third-party businesses, instead of just being limited to the aviation industry, and its success and reputation demanded an identity of its own.
Ian Dodds, Company Director of Air & Ground Aviation and PalStore, said: “We wanted to maximise the capability of our storage and logistics services out into the UK, but we felt that the Air & Ground Aviation name is very aviation driven, and could send mixed signals. PalStore is exactly what the service is; Pallet Storage, meaning we can approach a much wider audience.”
With the creation of a new website to match the name, the company is now focused on growth, by specifically targeting businesses in need of its services, as Ian added: “PalStore as a name is very versatile, therefore the sky is the limit. I would like to see more buildings and facilities under the PalStore name within 2-5 years and to see the company go from strength to strength, especially in the day and age where internet shopping is becoming the norm. We are planning to take advantage of this growing requirement so that PalStore can find its place to service the multi-billion-pound industry.”
